The 4th of JU---LIE!

Kelton's "friend" Sarah came over with her sister Jana

Here's some of the men folk having a deep discussion, I'm sure

MURPHY the Wonder Mutt!

We had such a fun 4th of July. Instead of frying ourselves at some baseball tournament down south, we decided to stay home this year and have some good old fashioned fun.

Garrison spent the night before at a friends house and they asked if he could just go to the parade (West Point) with them. After we agreed, it was decided that we wouldn't mention the parade to the little one and the big one really could care less about some little old parade. Can you say, " Turn off the stupid alarm clock and sleep in!!!"? We enjoyed a relaxing morning while Mr. Garrison chased down taffy to his hearts delight!!! I'm sure by next year the little one will have figured all of the parade stuff out and we'll be up at the butt crack of dawn saving us a spot for the parade of horses, tractors and TAFFY!!

We had a barbaque at our house later on in the day. It was so much fun. My Mommy even made homemade icecream for all of us. Murphy the dog came over as well to celebrate the big day with us. :)

Later that evening we went over to our friend's house for more illegal fireworks---are you sensing a trend here? It seems like illegal fireworks are being mentioned a lot lately in my posts! We better clean up our act or you will have to come and visit us in the pokie!

A wonderful day!!! I am so blessesd to be an American and so very thankful for all of the people that have given us our freedom. God bless the U.S.A.!

Birthday Fun for EVERYONE!

JUMPING HIGH!

Some B-Ball!

Illegal FUN!

The Birthday Boy!!!

Garrison's favorite cake is lemon cake!

Now it's getting GOOD!

Who in their right mind gives a bunch of 9 year olds sparklers?!!

Happy Birthday Gar Bear!

This past week we had a birthday bash for Sir Garrison. His actual birthdate is in May, but we finally found the perfect time to have it. We loaded up a whole butt load of nine year old boys and headed out to lazer tag. We came back and had cake and ice cream and the BEST part for Garrison-----the opening of the presents! :) We went out back and played with sparklers, basketball etc. Kelton and his friend Jared happily entertained the younger folk with illegal fireworks from Wyoming-----aren't teenagers adorable? (mine is!) Anywho, we all had a great time and it was so much fun to celebrate the birthday of such a WONDERFUL kid! We all love our GAR BEAR!

Baseball, Gardening and Growing OLD

Jenson and Ben playing in the sun!

Kelton and Jenson

GarBear making a catch!

Where does the time go?!!! We have been running around like crazy people as of late. Baseball season is in full swing and I am feeling it!!! Kelton is playing ball 6 days a week and Garrison plays 2-3 days a week with practices twice a week on top of that!!! Poor Kyle (NOT) only gets to play when he's not busy with the boy's teams----I keep telling him he's getting older and he needs to just pick up widdling or crocheting and forget about playing ball!!!

Garrison has 2 more days of school and then he will officially be a 4th grader. Kelton finished up Jr. High about a month ago and I cannot believe I will have a child in High School!!! How can I still only be 29 and have a kid in High School!!! I tell people he's much younger than he looks and just very advanced for a 10 year old!!! Mr. Jenson is just a sweetheart as usual, he turns 3 in September---he's still only knee high to a grasshopper, but growing! We call him our little mid--get! I love my boys!!!

My sister-in-law, who happens to be my next door neighbor is sick of looking at my "dirt" flower beds and has been trying to talk me into actually planting some "greenary". Since we had the yard landscaped last year, I just haven't felt in the mood to plant----I'm just in some sort of funk I guess. I bit the bullet and purchased a butt load of plants last weekend and they are now sitting nicely on my front porch looking rather lonely and sad because their new owner hasn't put them in the ground. I'm a bit overwhelmed with the whole project----why I thought it would be a great idea to have 9 miles worth of weed beds---oops, I mean flower beds surrounding our entire home is beyond me!!!! Was I high at the moment, seriously hopped up on Loritab or what?!!!!! Needless to say, it's going to be a work in progress. Wish me luck!!! :)

Catching up with the Monson Boys!

Hello, I've been playing with the idea of starting a blog for family and friends for several months now and I'm finally doing it!! My friend Tammy let me see her cute page and it has inspired me to get off my ever growing can and just start bloggin'! (Hey, isn't that a country song? Get off your can and start bloggin'----I'm going to go out in the forest and start loggin'....LOL!) Anywho...welcome friends one and all. I will try and catch you up on the Monson Clan.

KELTON
________
As most of you know, Kelton plays baseball for the Syracuse Titans. We spend A LOT of time at the baseball diamond. He is dressing JV and Varsity and loving every minute of it---well almost every minute of it! The coach sure loves to make them run! As a Mommy Bear, it is hard sometimes to watch them working so hard when you know how very tired they are, but Kyle has strongly warned me not to cuddle and love him out on the field! LOL! Kelton has been keeping his grades up very nicely----baseball is quite the incentive! Coach Bernson is VERY strict about grades and it's really taken the nagging off of our backs---Thank you, Coach!

Kelt is getting close to achieving his Eagle Scout! We are excited that that whole process is almost over!!! Kelton will be glad in the long run that his parents are so mean. :) He won't be getting his lisence in November if he doesn't have a nifty little EAGLE badge!!!! :)

Kelton is a wonderful, son, big brother, friend, grandson----over all just a fantastic person and we love him dearly!

GARRISON
__________

Garrison just finished up another year of basketball and has already begun baseball practices. He was asked to play for a comp team several times this year, but his mean parents felt he should wait another year so he doesn't burn out on it. He will take that road next spring. He is tearing it up at 3rd base! His favorite sport, however, is still football.

Gar Bear likes to be outside all of the time! He likes skateboarding and hanging out with all the neighborhood chitlins!!! Our backyard is a popular hang out spot for them. He is doing very well in school---his grades are always high! Quite the brain. :) He's sitting here reading everything I'm writing about him so I'll have to be careful--LOL.

Garrison is such a joy to have. He has such a big heart and is truly his little brother's Keeper. We love him so very much and always look forward to his funny antics. :)

JENSON
________

Jenson is our tiny caboose. He is a certifiable NUT! He keeps us laughing constantly. He will be turning 3 in September and is boasting a huge 22 pounds!!! He may be little, but he has a HUGE personality.

Our little JuJu Bee reached a milestone this past week.......he pee peed in the potty!!! He was so very proud of himself and promptly declared, "TREATS!". Yes, we are bribing the little, Turd! He was quickly given a full sheet of Nemo stickers---they are now stuck everywhere. :)

Jenson's bestfriends are his two older brothers. He is delighted when they are around. They take such good care of him. He is very loved by all.

Kyle and I feel very blessed to have been intrusted with such incredible little men. They are our love and joy!
